Colour Pallet

This a colour pallet taken from our storyboard.

Casting and Costume

From left to right- Charlie, Jack, Luca, Harry
Henry Curties as Harry
Henry's fashion and style choice, meant that it was a clear decision for him to be casted as Harry for our trailer. His sophisticated accent meant that he was well fitted for the character of Harry who was from an upper class background. We wanted Henry's character to be a charming boy, who is devoted to his girlfriend but has underlying anger issues and a general disregard for the rules which means he is constantly open to causing trouble with his friends.
Samuel Wastell as Luca
Sam's laid back, chilled personality made him ideal for this role. Luca's happy-go-lucky attitude heavily relates to Sam, meaning his limited acting skills wouldn't be a problem. His taller height makes him appear to be like Jack's sidekick, which is also demonstrated through the trouble they cause when they're together. The idea for Sam's character is for him to be the cheeky boy of the group, the one who never takes anything seriously and in the majority of cases is the one that goads the boys to cause trouble.

Thomas Malkin as Jack
We decided that the character for Tom should be the leader of the group the one who starts chaos and is highly respected by his friends. At 6ft 5in, he was the most suitable role for Jack. His tall stature allows the audience to grasp an understanding of his over ruling and dominating presence. We knew that Tom was going to be reliable for filming as he is part of our production team this enabling us to ensure that when we needed to film with him, we could do so.

Edward Monteith as Charlie
Edward has a very peaceful and shy personality which we thought mirrored the personality that we wanted for Charlie. Therefore this has allowed us to make Edward seem less likely to cause trouble, making him the weaker, more vulnerable member of the group. We decided that Edward's character should be a prefect at their school to help the audience to recognise his kind nature and sympathise with his character. We also wanted Edward's character (Charlie) to have a closer relationship with the leader of the group Tom's character (Jack), almost as if Jack has taken Charlie under his wing.
